Play to Grow

In these uncertain times, young children need support now more than ever. Across the country, many children are missing the benefits that school provides, including; relationships with their teachers and peers, the opportunity to learn social and emotional skills through play, and a consistent daily routine. Many children are fearful of germs and getting sick. With many school districts opting for partial or full remote learning, parents have been thrust into the position of co-teachers and facilitators of their children’s social-emotional learning.

I’m excited to use my 20 years of experience as a practicing play therapist and early childhood social worker to coach parents in supporting their children’s emotional development at home. My program is called Play to Grow.

Play to Grow: Routine. Rules. Play.
